RAAS Jodhpur

Services

RAAS Jodhpur is one from the archives. The ever-looming Mehrangarh fort as a backdrop, and in the eye-line, a beautiful walled city of indigo roofs – RAAS Jodhpur is everything Rajasthan, and more. This boutique property features 40 rooms, a spectacular heated pool at the entrance, a rooftop bar, and a spa. RAAS Jodhpur’s distinct look is an outcome of blending contemporary design with the iconic style of 18th-century havelis. The hotel comprises four original buildings and three contemporary structures that add a fresh dimension to the ancient red sandstone carved aesthetic.

While the busy old town surrounds it, and the most-frequented fort towers it, the property serves to be a tranquil haven for those looking to find some quiet in an otherwise very sensorial city.
The location and architecture make this a stand-out hotel, but the food competes for status quo too. From international cuisine to Rajasthani specialities, food here will spoil you for choice, even more so because the produce is seasonal, farm-fresh and locally sourced.

Design

What would an 18th-century fortified haveli look like today? Picture red sandstone façades carved with intricate detail, graceful archways that whisper stories of the past, black terrazzo floors grounding the space in quiet luxury, and accents of Jodhpur blue (now a hue with a legacy of its own).

Layer in contemporary furnishings, sleek design elements, and modern artwork, and you have RAAS Jodhpur – the forty room boutique hotel that becomes a quiet haven for those looking to explore the bustling city, just behind its gates.

Experiences

We believe boutique hotels are best experienced as mirrors of the cities they belong to — quiet reflections of the local culture, people, and way of life. RAAS Jodhpur is no exception.
It captures the unhurried rhythm of the Blue City with its glistening pool, a thoughtfully curated spa rooted in holistic traditions, and a gem boutique that nods to Jodhpur’s regal past. A stay here doesn’t just offer comfort, it offers context.

Step outside the gates, and the city unfolds. Here, curated itineraries are crafted to help you tap into the vibrant pulse of Jodhpur’s old town, from hiking up to the majestic Mehrangarh Fort to spotting native fauna in the desert fringes. Wander through bustling bazaars, embark on a sunset safari across golden dunes, or seek quietude in the timeless sanctity of ancient temples.

Food & Drinks

Choose from 4 unique options, each offering a view of the Mehrangarh fort. Baradari, located in the courtyard serves International and Rajasthani specialities all throughout the day. The menu is inspired by Thai, Mediterranean and Jodhpuri flavours. Darikhana is where lairs of Old Delhi are plated with fresh, seasonal, vegetables – all under the skylight. An alfresco dining experience, Darikhana is where the illuminated fort watches over the candlelit courtyard.

The downside (re: upside) of hotels situated close to landmarks is their claims to be the best vantage points; however, we think Stepwell Hotel Rooftop beats everyone to it when it comes to unfolding the blue city underneath. A rooftop restaurant, Stepwell Hotel is perfect for grills, tapas and a long-awaited date-night. Take your pick from Indian and International cuisine, while enjoying them at sunset. The restaurant is also operational for breakfast and lunch.

Spread across three stories overlooking the stepwell — where life flows unhurried and time seems to pause, Stepwell Café serves lunch, dinner, coffee, tea, and cocktails, all with a view that’s hard to leave.
